Michael Travers holds the Ph.D. in English from Michigan State University. He has taught in Christian colleges for 30 years and is now the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Louisiana College in Pineville, LA. He has written three books (including Encountering God in the Psalms and Face to Face With God: Human Images of God in the Bible) and wrote the introduction for and edited the essays in C. S. Lewis: Views from Wake Forest (Zossima Press). He serves as an External Fellow for the L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC and is currently working on a book-length manuscript on C. S. Lewis.
